About the role

We're looking for a Commercial Controller RO/BG_fixed-term to safeguard our financial practice with vigilance and strategic insight. You'll be more than just a number-cruncher; you'll be a financial gatekeeper for Reckitt, ensuring that we not only stay ahead in compliance but also capitalise on opportunities to craft a stronger, more profitable future. Your expertise in tax laws and proactive approach will guide us through the complexities of tax regulations, turning challenges into strategic advantages.

For this role, we are offering a limited contract, until end of December 2026.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure all submission (Month end close; Forecasts/Plan; 6MRF, etc) are delivered on time with qualitative input.
  • Liaise and collaborates with the FPA team in case of queries on the above submissions
  • Focus on forecast/plan quality, ensure improvement of forecast accuracy and LV delivery. Flag risks if any.
  • Collaborates with other departments by providing and gathering financial information needed in the financial process (month end close, forecast, plan).
  • Monitoring brand / customer performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of variances vs. budget, forecast and prior year.
  • Improving customer / brand performance by analysing/evaluating ROI, pricing, mix, COGS, and NPDs
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions/meetings and provide financial support to drive productivity initiatives and support management in the execution of business strategies.
  • Deliver monthly reporting pack and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with corporate reporting requirements and policies.
  • Cooperate with EE FP&A team, share and seek good practices, delivery ad hoc requests.
  • NWC management: Improve forecast/plan accuracy; Track performance monthly and highlight risks & opportunities.
  • Tackle ad-hoc finance projects, including reporting automation, benchmarking and analyses (e.g., Fusion, etc).

 

The experience we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 5-6 years’ work experience within Controlling (senior position) preferably in a FMCG company, Commercial role
  • Stakeholder management, managing complexity, presentation skills, forecasting and budgeting skills
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel & Power Point in particular.
  • Knowledge of SAP, PowerBI is a plus.
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
