About the role
Embark on an enriching journey as a Senior Accountant (Senior RTR Specialist RO&BG) at Reckitt - a role that offers more than just numbers. You will be instrumental in constructing a full-picture narrative of our company's financial health.
Your responsibilities
- Play a key role in the end-of-month closing process, preparing journal entries and managing various reconciliations for the accounts in the assigned company's balance sheet
- Ensure the efficiency of the month closing process by coordinating all the persons involved, ensuring the monthly / quarterly / annual reporting in Reckitt systems in the terms communicated by the group
- Responsible for verifying the operations registered in the Reckitt accounting accounts both at the statutory and group level, as well as for reconciling the verification balance
- Responsible for fixed assets (acquisitions, depreciation at group / local level, decommissioning of fixed assets, register of fixed assets) and their reconciliation as well as for verifying the records of bank statements and their reconciliation at the end of the month
- Responsible for the process regarding the affiliated parties: the records referring to the affiliated partners (goods, services), of the VAT quotas used in their registration, for the payment of the debts of the receivables regarding the affiliated parties by compensation, for the reconciliation of the balances left at the end of each month affiliate
- Responsible for re-invoicing costs to affiliated parties for seconded employees or costs received in Romania related to affiliated parties and for obtaining tax residency certificates for affiliated partners
- Cooperation with external and internal auditors and preparation of the transfer pricing file made with the help of tax consultants
- Responsible for end-of-month reporting
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting or a similar subject
- Minimum 5 years as experience in Accounting, or <5 years if there is a former 1-2 years’ experience as Accountant in an Accounting firm
- Advanced MS office; SAP nice to have
- Fluent Romanian and English
- Details oriented and analytical mindset
