Marketing
The eRB function is the eCommerce and digital execution engine of Reckitt. We help create a healthier, cleaner world by building shared success with our consumers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible through online channels.
Within eRB we're focused on accelerating the performance and purpose of Reckitt brands to empower a bigger, faster and bolder eCommerce and digital business. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success.
Reckitt has around 800 eCommerce people across the world. In-market roles cover areas such as online Key Accounts and Performance Marketing, regional roles work with the markets to provide specialist expertise to accelerate online growth, and our global teams cover areas such as Amazon, EB2B and Direct to Consumer.
About the role
The Senior Brand Manager Self Care reports directly to the Category Marketing & Trade Marketing Manager Self Care SEE and leads one or more Reckitt brands in Romania. The role is directly responsible for the brands’ profit and loss performance, as well as for defining and driving their strategic direction. This includes both Brand Strategy and Commercial Strategy. The Senior Brand Manager is expected to create a vision for their category and develop the roadmap, priorities, and strategies required to achieve the established business objectives.
Your responsibilities
Define and lead the marketing strategy for the OTC category.
Lead the gathering, interpretation, and development of marketing strategies and recommendations for the assigned brand group across all channels, based on Regional SEE plans.
Lead the development and execution of the brand group strategy in line with the national commercial strategy and Regional SEE strategy (unless a withdrawal has been decided and approved).
Accountable and responsible for the portfolio strategy, working closely with the Regional SEE brand group and regional innovation teams to support the overall medium- and long-term marketing strategy.
Coordinate brand marketing and trade marketing activities to achieve and exceed annual brand objectives.
Analyze market, competitor, and consumer data and recommend appropriate actions; propose and commission specific consumer research when required.
Manage the P&L and oversee the marketing budget (BEI and non-BEI) for the assigned brand group.
Manage, develop, coach, and mentor direct reports, preparing them for the next level of responsibility.
Monitor the strategies, positioning, activities, NPIs (New Product Introductions), and media presence of key competitors.
Manage relationships with advertising agencies, Global Brand Teams, and other relevant internal and external stakeholders.
The experience we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG and/or pharmaceutical marketing.
Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
Additional postgraduate studies and/or relevant professional qualifications are considered an asset.
Fluency in English.
