About the role
This role plays a key part in supporting business performance by enabling data‑driven decision‑making and ensuring strong financial stewardship behind our brands with purpose.
You will oversee the planning, monitoring, and reporting of Marketing investments and Fixed Costs partnering closely with Marketing and cross‑functional stakeholders. The role reports to the FP&A Manager while leads 1 or 2 direct reports.
The role is on a fixed-term period, until end of December 2026.
Your responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop 1-2 direct reports—building capability, enabling growth, and driving high‑quality delivery.
- Ensure timely, accurate submissions across Month‑End Closing, Forecasts, Plans, and Rolling Forecasts.
- Enhance forecast quality and accuracy; proactively flag risks and opportunities.
- Ensure proper controls, monitoring, completeness, and accuracy of all Marketing investment and Fixed Cost reporting, including media spend.
- Act as a strong business partner - especially to Marketing - providing insights and financial guidance. (i.e. new product development, ad-hoc analysis)
- Own Fixed Costs and Marketing spending processes, including accounting and accrual management.
- Monitor brand performance KPIs, identify trends, and analyze variances vs budget, forecast, and prior year.
- Improve brand performance through ROI analysis, pricing evaluation, and mix analysis.
- Lead the monthly financial closing process and deliver management reporting.
- Oversee enterprise-level planning and monthly forecasting cycles.
- Ensure financial reporting integrity through strong internal controls aligned with corporate policies.
- Manage and participate in ad hoc analyses and strategic projects.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to gather, interpret, and communicate financial data.
- Represent Finance in cross‑functional meetings, supporting productivity initiatives and commercial strategy execution.
- Apply strong financial and analytical expertise to solve problems effectively and deliver high‑quality insights.
The experience we're looking for
- University or college degree in Finance/accounting or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in finance/controlling/audit.
- People management experience is an advantage (or readiness to lead a small team).
- SAP experience is an advantage.
- Experience in Big4/Pharma/FMCG multinational environments is preferred.
- Demonstrates professional curiosity to understand the business behind the numbers.
- Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: innovative, pragmatic, and able to influence effectively.
