About the role
Embark on an influential journey as a Senior Sales Finance Manager SEE with Reckitt, where your strategic vision drives our financial planning and analysis to new heights. In this crucial role, you'll be the beacon for our forecast and planning cycle, producing insights that shape pivotal decisions. You'll work closely with our leaders, providing the clarity and precision necessary for steering our company's prosperity.
Your responsibilities
- Scope: Enterprise-wide strategic leadership and transformation
- The Sales Finance team focuses on driving profitable customer growth through pricing discipline, promotion effectiveness, robust forecasting and commercial decision support.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and commercial analysis for sales operations while acting as strategic finance partner to Sales leadership. Drive trade investment effectiveness, customer profitability, and sustainable revenue growth. Lead and develop a high-performing team and support strategic decision-making across the business.
- Act as trusted advisor to Sales leadership team providing strategic guidance and fact-based recommendations. Shape commercial strategy including pricing, portfolio, and channel mix. Provide forward-looking insights and scenario analysis. Drive value-based decision-making and assure compliance of LSM. Lead monthly financial reviews with clear corrective actions.
- Lead annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlook processes for sales and trade spend. Lead demand review processes and assure one aligned forecast across Sales, Finance, and Supply. Perform SI/SO reconciliation and assure Gross to Net discipline. Drive continuous improvement of IBP governance and forecast accuracy.
- Set annual trade and promotional budgets and challenge investment decisions to maximize returns. Monitor budgets and assure strong trade investment discipline. Set ROI frameworks and drive optimization decisions. Lead trade productivity initiatives.
- Support and challenge Sales teams with financial justification for new business opportunities and contract renewals. Drive customer, channel, and SKU profitability. Own resource allocation decisions and improve NRVA/GMVA by customer. Develop team capabilities and succession pipeline.
- Ensure full compliance with internal controls framework. Act as control owner for commercial finance processes. Validate outputs from centralized teams and oversee audit readiness. Promote strong compliance culture.
The experience we're looking for
- 10+ years progressive finance experience with strong commercial finance background. Proven track record partnering with senior commercial leadership. Deep expertise in IBP, pricing, trade spend and controls.
- Proven track record and hands on experience in leading the development and setting of annual trade investment and promotional budgets, including allocation decisions across customers, channels, and investment types.
- Proven track record in influencing trade spend effectiveness by actively challenging and reviewing investment choices to drive highest ROI
- Demonstrated accountability for trade-spend effectiveness, investment optimization, and delivery of financial commitments.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills. Strategic thinking and strong business acumen. Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional collaboration.
- Expert-level Excel and ERP knowledge. Strong understanding of Southern European markets and retail dynamics. Fluent English required.
- People management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required. MBA or professional finance certification preferred.
- This role requires demonstrated end-to-end ownership of commercial finance decisions. Candidates must have personally led the setting of trade investment budgets, challenged investment decisions, and been accountable for commercial finance outcomes with direct decision-making responsibility.
