About the role
Tax Specialist ensures that fiscal and accounting laws & requirements are applied in daily operations of companies, and all declarations are submitted in due time to local dedicated authorities. Tax Specialist stay connected with all changes or new regulations in fiscal field, especially with implications in Pharma & FMCG industries.
Your responsibilities
• Offers a wide range of fiscal tasks and operations in accordance with laws and regulations
• Responsible for computations and submission of all declarations (300, 390, 394, Intrastat, 205, 207, 100, CIT, SAFT); offers indications to Treasury for payments
• Responsible for NBR reports, statistics
• Support in preparation for quarterly Deferred tax calculation
• Key player in month end activities; responsible for Balance Sheets accounts reconciliation in Tax area as per Group Policy
• Support in preparation of documentation needed for Transfer pricing files and collaborates with external consultants
• Identify and reduce fiscal risks and incorporate and share the assessment with Tax & Governance Manager, or when required with Group International Tax team
• Offer support and direct implication in tax office controls
• Maintain the taxpayer statement clear and updated
• Involved in internal and external audit exercises
• Involved in projects derived from new/changed fiscal regulations (e.g. change of VAT rate, new taxes introduced etc)
• Prepare all fiscal documents on a regular basis and all ad-hoc requests on tax area
• Offer tax guidance to all the other departments (in day-by-day initiatives or projects)
• Support Tax & Governance Manager in all duties of the team
The experience we're looking for
Minimum 2-3 years in taxation or local Romanian accounting. FMCG experience is a plus
Experience in working with ERP – SAP is advantageous
English and Romanian fluent
Educated to minimum bachelors degree level ideally in a business related subject - from a recognized University
The skills for success
Project Management, Financial Reporting, Accounting principles, Financial Analysis and reporting.
