About the role
As Treasury Accountant RO&BG, your overall objective is to perform all treasury processes, keep accuracy in booking, monitor the accounts for which you are responsible, meet the deadlines for closing, propose improvement for current processes. In this position you will be based in Bucharest, and will report to the Accounting & Reporting Manager RO&BG.
Your responsibilities
- Validate weekly automatic payments
- Perform and follow up on manual and advance payments
- Bank open items and bank reconciliation
- Monitor the cash flow and cash pooling accounts
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliation for accounts
- Bank approval/user maintenance
- Manage relationship with local bank
- Weekly check of FX rate uploaded by global team
- Credit cards administrator
- Expense reports approval, payment and reconciliation (validation of transfer in SAP, reconciliation of open reports)
- Trainings held for credit card usage or expense report
- RFCF treasury controls – constantly review of each control, ensure proper process and evidence
- Lead monthly calls with group treasury team
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Proven work experience in accounting, treasury management or a related financial role
- Fluent English and Romanian
- Experience in working with SAP, proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with banking products and services
- Experience in general ledger accounting
- Good understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team
