Sales
Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online. Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About the role
As eCommerce Key Account Manager your overall objective is to develop and implement the sales strategy per customer in alignment with Reckitt’s strategic objectives and longer-term basis. The eCommerce Key Account Manager is responsible for developing a strategic partnership with the customers and optimizing all aspects of the commercial relationship. In this role you will have accountability for the full scope of Reckitt’s commercial interaction with the customer, ranging from the development of sales strategy per customer to the management of promotional activities. You will be based in Bucharest and will report to the Head of eCommerce.
Your responsibilities
- Building long term partnership with existing online customers, as well as adding new channels/ developing new partnerships
- Responsibility for 4P's strategy implementation, with special focus on recommended assortment, promotions and KPI's (e.g.: unique visitors, conversions, per transaction value, repeat rate)
- Responsible for the promotional strategy per customer and promotional execution
- Manage trade spending and customer negotiations, prepare accurate sales forecasts
- Implementation and ongoing management of the category strategy per customer
- Continuous improvement in the management of the account by identifying opportunities for efficiency, profitability and improvement in the management of categories
- Analyzing key data (e.g.: online specific sell-out data, turnover, listing, promotional plans, ROI on Trade investment)
- Close cross functional interaction with Trade Marketing, Planning, Marketing, Logistics, Finance, and IS teams
- Prepare customer specific activity proposal and accurate internal feedback of the promotional plan/calendar in the requested lead time
- Performance of Sales Analyses (Share, 4P, Financial data)
- Handling invoice complaints, price communication/negotiation, price setting in commercial system
The experience we're looking for
- 3-5 years of FMCG experience in Sales/ Marketing or Key Account Management, eCommerce knowledge would be a plus
- Bachelor’s degree ideally in a business-related subject
- Fluency in English and Romanian
- Experience in influencing and engaging senior management with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities
- Highly analytical and numerate attitude
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues
- Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
- Ability to manage uncertainty in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to close annual contract trade terms and keep contact with the lead buyer independently
