About the role

As Demand & Supply Planner you will be responsible for planning the supply of externally & internally manufactured products to deliver exceptional customer service of quality product within challenging financial and logistics targets. You will manage the day-to-day relationship with the manufacturing suppliers. You will be responsible for maintaining sales forecast in the system according to agreements made on monthly forecasting meetings with the sales department. To our new colleague, we provide a fixed-term contract for a maximum of 2 years.

Your responsibilities

        Primary link to the company owned factories and external co-packers, located in and outside Europe, supplying the given brands to the HU & ADR region

        Plan replenishment of product to maintain supply service levels

        Agree production/delivery plan with suppliers to maintain supply service levels

        Management of supplier relationships

        Operate with Optimum working capital on finished goods as defined in safety stock Policy (MOQ, safety stock)

        Minimalize extra cost of transport operating cost effective way during inbound

        Verify freshness and shelf life left of the stock, in line with customer expectations

        Run monthly forecast meetings with the sales department

        Analyze forecast accuracy and propose corrective actions

        Analyze sales and market trends and propose actions to improve forecast accuracy

        Maintain agreed sales forecast in the system

        Lead continuous improvement projects for the demand planning operations

The experience we're looking for

        University or College Degree in a business-related subject

        Fluent English and Hungarian

        At least 2 years of experience in Demand and/or Supply or related planning, ideally in a fast-paced environment

        Be able to understand and use planning systems (e.g.: Kinaxis Rapid Response, SAP)

        Demonstrates understanding and use of relationship building and collaborative planning with third party suppliers

        Ability to work in a multifunctional, multicultural environment

        Be able to apply appropriate problem-solving techniques to evaluate and resolve operational issues
