About the role

We're looking for a Marketing & CFC Controller SEE to safeguard our financial practice with vigilance and strategic insight. In this role you will be based in Budapest, Hungary and will be working closely with our SEE business, reporting to the SEE FP&A Manager. To our new employee we will provide a fixed-term contract for a maximum of 12 months. 

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure proper controls, monitoring and completeness of marketing investment

  • Ensure proper controls over media spending

  • Application of the global trade policy with regards to promo classification, trade/marketing investment accounting

  • Prepare brand/segment/SKU profitability analyses and estimations based on business needs

  • Provide analyses to the marketing team, working closely with them to enable them to make accurate decisions to achive business objectives

  • Prepare pre- and post promotion & NPD analyses and discussion with the marketing team

  • Prepare monthly marketing spend estimation for flash reporting

  • Monitoring marketing open Pos

  • Participate in annual planning and quarterly forecasting process, align marketing investment targets with marketing department

  • Participate in the monthly group and internal reporting processes, prepare all internal reports by the given deadlines

  • Participate in monthly closing procedures regarding the P&L and marketing accruals

  • Participate in regular discussions with the marketing team on customer/brand performance, portfolio mix and profitability

The experience we're looking for

  • Professional finance or accounting certification, backing your industry knowledge with formal qualifications.
  • 2-3 years of experience within the finance industry, preferably in Marketing/Commercial Controlling.
  • Adept at financial modelling, with excellent Excel skills for data analysis and interpretation.
  • A firm understanding of financial statements including P & L, cash flow, and balance sheets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, navigating stakeholder relationships with ease.
