About the role

We are looking for a Commercial & EMO Quality Manager to lead end-to-end quality governance across Egypt & North Africa. This role is responsible for ensuring product compliance, protecting consumers, and driving quality excellence across commercial operations and external manufacturing partners (EMOs), in line with global standards.

You will act as the key Quality partner to the local leadership team, ensuring robust Quality Management Systems (QMS), strong supplier performance, and continuous improvement across the value chain.

Your responsibilities

Quality Leadership & Governance

  • Lead and maintain a compliant and effective Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Ensure ongoing inspection readiness and compliance with global and local regulations
  • Partner with the local Management Team as the Quality representative

EMO & Supplier Quality

  • Approve, monitor, and audit external manufacturers and suppliers
  • Drive supplier performance, risk management, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure robust technical agreements and adherence to Reckitt quality standards

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory, internal, and safety requirements
  • Lead quality risk assessments (e.g., product stability, packaging integrity, supply chain risks)
  • Own investigation and resolution of quality issues, including CAPA implementation

Consumer & Product Quality

  • Ensure safety, quality, and performance of all products in the market
  • Lead complaint handling, product recall readiness, and incident management

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement improvements across processes, products, and suppliers
  • Use data and KPIs to drive performance and decision-making

Key Performance Indicators

  • Product compliance and audit outcomes
  • Supplier quality performance
  • CAPA effectiveness and closure rate
  • Consumer complaints and quality incidents
  • QMS compliance and inspection readiness

The experience we're looking for

  • Degree in Life Sciences or related field
  • Strong experience in Quality Management within FMCG / manufacturing
  • Proven expertise in supplier quality and external manufacturing (EMO)
  • Solid knowledge of QMS, GMP/GDP, and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience in risk management tools (e.g., FMEA, root cause analysis)
  • Strong auditing background (Lead Auditor is a plus)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
