About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our dynamic team for a one-year internship. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruitment, employee engagement, and employer branding. You will play a key role in supporting various aspects of employee lifecycle while contributing to meaningful projects that enhance our workplace culture and talent acquisition strategies.
Your responsibilities
Employee Engagement
- Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives (e.g., team-building activities, wellness programs, recognition events).
- Help collect and analyze employee feedback through surveys and focus groups.
- Assist in developing internal communication materials to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Monitor and report on engagement metrics and participation rates.
Employer Branding
- Create engaging content for careers pages, LinkedIn, and internal newsletters to showcase company culture and values.
- Support photo/video shoots and employee testimonial projects.
- Conduct research on industry best practices in employer branding and recommend improvements.
- Help coordinate branding initiatives during onboarding and recruitment campaigns.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Assist in drafting and publishing job advertisements across job portals and social media platforms.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate outreach (e.g., phone screenings, interview scheduling).
- Support the coordination of interviews, assessments, and feedback collection.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking and recruitment dashboards.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to support other recruitment events.
Learning Opportunities
- Gain exposure to the full HR lifecycle within a professional business environment.
- Learn about HR tools such as SuccessFactors, survey platforms, and engagement analytics.
- Participate in strategy meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.
- Receive mentorship and career development guidance from experienced HR professionals.
The experience we're looking for
- Able to commit at least 6 months of internship duration.
- Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for people and culture.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite; familiarity with Canva, LinkedIn, or content creation tools is a plus.
- A team player who can also work independently and handle confidential information professionally.
