About the role
The Activity Manager (AM) acts as a critical link between Category, Production, Supply, Sales/Marketing, R&D, and QA. The primary objective of this role is to ensure projects meet their target timelines by coordinating with all key stakeholders for successful delivery. This position involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams—both internal and global—so strong relationship-building skills are essential for success.
Your responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service to achieve the factory pack fill rate target.
- Minimize write-offs during the run-in/run-out phases of EPD and NPD projects.
- Coordinate the project approval process, including evaluating submissions and presenting them to Gatekeepers.
- Chair project planning meetings for all approved EPD/NPD changes to keep projects on track and maintain accurate master data.
- Manage long-term factory projects as required.
- Provide weekly updates to all project champions, monitoring progress to ensure deliverables are met within scope, resources, time, cost, and quality.
- Influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and meet agreed launch timelines.
- Negotiate with country and category marketing teams on launch formats, volumes, and timings to agree on achievable plans and minimize write-off risk.
- Identify project team members, communicate effectively across management levels, and escalate issues professionally and promptly when necessary.
The experience we're looking for
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related discipline.
- Strong grasp of logistics within Supply Services and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to influence change and improve business processes in a logistics context.
- Experience building relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Practical knowledge of supply chain planning and logistics management.
- Ability to leverage advanced data analytics to optimize processes and enhance productivity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent cross-functional communication abilities.
- Fluency in English (essential); knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel when required.
