Acting as a change catalyst, the CI Engineer partners closely with cross‑functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, challenge the status quo, and embed a strong continuous improvement culture throughout the organization.
By applying Lean, Six Sigma, and proven operational excellence methodologies, the Continuous Improvement Engineer delivers measurable business results—reducing waste, improving process capability, strengthening sustainability practices, and maximizing profitability. This role goes beyond project execution, serving as a coach and thought leader who equips factory teams with the tools, mindset, and discipline needed to sustain long‑term improvement and competitive advantage.

Your responsibilities

  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify waste, inefficiencies, and performance variation, turning insights into actionable improvements.
  • Lead and deliver continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and PDCA/DMAIC methodologies to achieve measurable results.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret process and performance data to support fact‑based decision making and sustainable improvements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard work, SOPs, and best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and structured problem‑solving sessions that engage teams and drive ownership at all levels.
  • Support process design, optimization, and validation activities from development through start‑up and full production.
  • Partner closely with production, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to align improvement efforts with business priorities.
  • Track, report, and communicate CI project progress, savings, and key performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Coach, mentor, and train employees on CI tools and foster a strong continuous improvement mindset across the factory.
  • Support internal and external audits, certifications, and compliance requirements.
  • Drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements to maximize asset utilization and productivity.
  • Collaborate with leadership to deploy and strengthen the Reckitt Production System (RPS).
  • Lead and sustain 5S implementation across the entire factory to create a safe, organized, and high‑performance workplace.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing, operations, or process improvement environment.
  • Hands‑on experience applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Practical exposure to data‑driven problem solving and process optimization in an industrial setting.

The skills for success

  • Strong project management capability with a structured, disciplined approach to execution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and decision support.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey ideas, data, and results to different audiences.
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma certification is a strong advantage, with practical experience applying CI tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with Minitab or similar statistical analysis software is an added benefit.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with the ability to solve problems in a rational, data‑driven manner.
  • Results‑oriented mindset, demonstrating efficiency, effectiveness, and strong follow‑through.
  • Collaborative team player with strong problem‑solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • High level of commitment, diligence, attention to detail, and reliability.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and computer systems in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Able to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
