About the role
To lead and proactively manage all aspects of site microbiology that may impact on product safety, quality and efficacy. Ensure full compliance to Reckitt policies, Health Authority requirements and good hygienic design. Act as a consultant on all microbiological issues relating to site and product manufacture. Responsible for training of key personnel and awareness of all microbiology issues throughout the manufacturing site.
Your responsibilities
- Leading in all microbiological compliance issues and Microbiological Laboratory
- Full compliance to good hygienic design requirements
- Approval of all CAPEX with a microbiology/Hygiene impact
- Approval of site VMP and appropriate validation reports and protocols
- Consultant on all microbiology issues relating to plant and manufacture
- Attendance of site GxP events as needed
- QM/supply director and other relevant stakeholders
- Requires close working relationship with QA/Microbiology/Engineering/Operations/Technical to ensure that all parts of the product lifecycle comply with microbiology and hygiene best practice.
- Ensuring Operational teams, Engineering teams and Suppliers/Contractors are compliant with Reckitt Microbiological standards.
- Provide Microbiological expertise and advice to Operations, Engineering and Technical teams.
- Evaluate quality control data and reports to identify and address recurring problems either with quality of product or the reliability of testing procedures
- Coach and mentor less experience analyst and staffs; check the quality of their work and help them resolve problems.
The experience we're looking for
- Degree in Microbiology, pharmaceutical science or any related science degree.
- At least 3 years pharmaceutical or associated industry manufacturing experience.
- Strong project management experiences with demonstrable problem-solving skills.
- Independent and self-starting with the resilience needed to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead and motivate others, showing strong interpersonal competence and team commitment.
- Adaptable and collaborative nature, prepared to take accountability for a broad range of activities.
