About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Technologist (Temporary) to join our Packaging team. In this role, you will work closely with suppliers, cross-functional teams, and manufacturing sites to develop and qualify packaging materials, support new product launches, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop new packaging components with both local suppliers and global preferred suppliers.
  • Prepare documentation and ensure packaging materials are ready prior to production startup.
  • Lead packaging-related activities for technical transfers, cost reduction initiatives, NPD/EPD, and validation trials.
  • Manage packaging specifications within PLM and ensure integration with operational systems like SAP.
  • Coordinate development of artwork with printers, ensuring color accuracy and compliance.
  • Support harmonization and standardization initiatives across packaging components.

The experience we're looking for

  • 1–3 years of experience in packaging development or related roles.
  • Knowledge of UK, EU, and FDA standards is an advantage.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a systems-oriented mindset.
  • Creative problem-solving and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
  • Results-driven, organized, and proactive.
