About the role

The Packing Process Engineer is responsible for monitoring production performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving process optimization within the Packing and packing operations. The role requires a strong focus on quality, safety, productivity, and cost-efficiency in alignment with company objectives.

Your responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing performance metrics (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, RCPS, and TPM methodologies.
  • Implement and sustain high-performance manufacturing systems aligned with global standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the execution of improvement projects in accordance with annual manufacturing targets.
  • Manage Packing equipment optimization, including layout changes and automation feasibility.
  • Conduct training on Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO13485, and GMP standards.
  • Use data analytics and engineering calculations to drive decision-making and performance enhancements. 

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or related field.
  • Master’s degree in engineering/management would be advantages. 
  • 0-3 years experienced in production operations/improvement in multi manufacturing company.
  • Fully PC literate (word, excel, Analysis tools).
  • Advance data analysis / Scientific calculations to identify improvements opportunities.
  • Familiar with ISO management system, GMP, Lean manufacturing, 5s and on-site management in production floor.
  • Must have solid professional production management experience in FMCG, Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals industry.
  • Must be able to interact effectively with a diverse workforce.
  • Able to work 6 days per week.
