About the role
The Production Planner is responsible for managing production schedules in alignment with the master plan developed by the Master Production Scheduler. This includes planning and coordinating monthly, weekly, and daily production activities for assigned processes.
The role works closely with the production team to ensure efficient resource planning and utilization. Key objectives include meeting service requirements, optimizing costs, and maintaining appropriate inventory levels to support operational goals.
Your responsibilities
- Manage weekly and daily production plans for the assigned area to ensure smooth operations and achievement of production targets.
- Coordinate with the Production team to ensure all production orders meet service requirements.
- Support cross-functional project validations, including supply chain, technical, and engineering projects.
- Manage, confirm, and schedule planned orders in alignment with operational needs.
- Analyze and prepare daily and weekly plans to ensure packing schedules align with the master production plan.
- Continuously improve the effectiveness of packing schedules to optimize efficiency and resource utilization.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years in planning, materials planning, or procurement, or in a related role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and perform under pressure.
- Proficiency in SAP or ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs.
- Good command of English is essential; fluency in local languages is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel if required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and pressurized environment.
