About the role

It includes leading fast‑track projects or managing specific workstreams within larger technical projects, depending on what each project requires. A key part of the role is contributing to the creation of consumer‑preferred products—from the initial design and IDB stages, all the way through to full-scale manufacturing and product launch.

This role requires both theoretical and practical expertise in one or more of Durex’s core technologies—such as formulation and/or process development—as well as a good understanding of the relevant regulations and legislation that apply to the products.

Your responsibilities

  • Apply consumer insights from different regions to guide product design and improvements.
  • Balance formulation, performance robustness, and cost targets effectively.
  • Develop reliable testing methods to support strong, consumer‑relevant claims.
  • Ensure IP requirements are considered throughout the development process.
  • Prepare and share technical reports throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant legislation, health & safety, and environmental standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science-related field (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Cosmetic Science).
  • 1–3 years of experience in product development, preferably in FMCG or chemical manufacturing.
  • Basic knowledge of formulation or process development.
