About the role
This role is responsible for delivering product development activities across one or more platforms within the Durex R&D portfolio. It includes leading fast‑track projects or managing specific workstreams within larger technical projects, depending on what each project requires. A key part of the role is contributing to the creation of consumer‑preferred products—from the initial design and IDB stages, all the way through to full-scale manufacturing and product launch.
To succeed in this position, strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team are essential. The role also demands solid technical knowledge and strong problem‑solving capabilities, along with the confidence to take ownership of critical aspects of assigned projects. In some cases, the position may include line management responsibilities for one or more R&D Assistants.
This role requires both theoretical and practical expertise in one or more of Durex’s core technologies—such as formulation and/or process development—as well as a good understanding of the relevant regulations and legislation that apply to the products.
