About the role

As an Sensory & Consumer Science Senior Associate  , you will play a pivotal role in shaping consumer experiences through innovative product development. By integrating quantitative research and consumer insights, you will design and execute studies that uncover behaviors and preferences, driving product innovations people love and trust. Collaborating closely with R&D and Marketing teams, you will influence global innovation projects for the Durex category, delivering actionable insights that guide strategic decisions and fuel business growth.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead sensory and consumer research for post-feasibility product development and strategically important feasibility projects.
  • Design, execute, and manage quantitative and qualitative studies to uncover actionable insights.
  • Build consumer-centric category knowledge through strategic and fundamental research.
  • Explore and trial new methodologies to understand emerging behaviors and enhance consumer engagement.
  • Develop global consumer product insights that inform innovation and marketing strategies.
  • Identify and manage external partnerships to strengthen research capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with Market Research codes, data protection requirements, and safety standards.
  • Contribute to best practice development across the Consumer Product Insights (CPI) team

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in data analytics and/or consumer insights.
  • Proven background in Market Research, Consumer Science, or Sensory research, ideally within consumer goods.
  • Experience in designing and leading consumer research studies, merging quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into business-relevant insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Creativity in problem-solving with a strong emphasis on consumer needs.
  • Team-oriented approach with initiative to innovate and improve methodologies.
