As a Senior Associate / Engineer / Project Manager in Regional Packaging, you'll integrate innovation with strategy, leaving your mark across a tapestry of brands. Your responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of CapEx projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project scope.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, regulations, and applicable safety, security, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Manage the three key pillars of project management:
    • Scope: Deliver project objectives and agreed deliverables.
    • Cost: Control project spending within approved budgets and monitor expenditure against project plans.
    • Time: Ensure projects are completed according to established timelines and milestones.
  • Develop project master plans, resource requirements, budgets, and implementation schedules.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and mitigation planning to support project success.
  • Oversee contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure quality delivery, compliance, and effective partnerships.
  • Ensure all plant modifications, equipment installations, and facility upgrades meet regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Monitor project performance through defined KPIs and success measures, evaluating outcomes against objectives upon completion.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, financial records, and progress reports.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, achievements, and financial performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and project execution effectiveness.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the FMCG industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, leading capital investment, engineering, or factory improvement projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to defined objectives.
  • Experience in factory expansion, equipment installation, process improvement, and capital expenditure (CapEx) projects is highly desirable.

The skills for success

  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment installation, modification, commissioning, and implementation of new and existing production systems.
  • Proficiency in engineering drawing and design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent applications.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems, industrial controls, and process automation technologies.
  • Experience in Factory Automation, including SCADA systems and manufacturing automation applications.
  • Strong understanding of engineering standards, safety regulations, quality systems, and project management methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong project planning, execution, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to compliance and safety standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and drive projects to successful completion.
