About the role

We are looking for a Utility & Facility Manager to take ownership of our site's essential utility and facility operations, ensuring the highest standards of reliability, safety, compliance, and efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to lead strategic improvement initiatives, drive sustainability performance, and make a significant impact on manufacturing operations.

As the Utility & Facility Manager, you will lead a team responsible for the safe and reliable operation of critical utility systems and facility infrastructure. You will play a key role in optimizing energy and water consumption, delivering capital projects, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can combine technical expertise with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills to drive operational excellence across the entire site.

Your responsibilities

  • Leading utility and facility operations to ensure maximum system reliability and efficiency.
  • Developing and executing improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
  • Managing energy, water, and sustainability programs to support environmental objectives.
  • Driving engineering and infrastructure projects from concept through implementation.
  • Managing departmental budgets and ensuring effective cost control.
  • Ensuring full compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Building strong partnerships with contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
  • Promoting a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement mindset across the facility.
  • Maintaining FM Global compliance and supporting risk reduction initiatives.

The experience we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing environments, ideally FMCG.
  • Proven experience managing utility systems and facility operations.
  • Strong track record in engineering project management and capital project delivery.
  • Experience leading teams, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
