About the role

As a Production Shift Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our site operates safely, efficiently (OEE), and to the highest quality standards. Leading by example, you’ll oversee day‑to‑day performance across safety, quality, customer service, cost, and people. You’ll be the first point of escalation for issues on shift, ensuring rapid and effective decision‑making that keeps our production lines running smoothly. This is a hands‑on leadership position where you’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and help create a positive, high‑performance environment on the shop floor.

Your responsibilities

  1. Lead your shift to meet all Reckitt Safety, OEE, GMP and quality standards, ensuring compliance, completing walk‑arounds, and championing a safe working culture.
  2. Develop, ensure and review the Monthly in-house production plan based on S&OP demand and sales forecast for all SKUs in the factory.
  3. Monitor and Rectify Production Machineries Breakdown.
  4. Monitor cost performance by completing regular performance reviews and managing labor utilization across your area.
  5. Ensure timely and accurate completion of shift reports, escalations, investigations and handovers.
  6. Support continuous improvement initiatives (RPS), including waste reduction, process optimization, and problem‑solving activities.
  7. All manufacturing posting in the JDE Edwards (ERP Software) on time as per production plan
  8. Conduct training for new employees as well as refresher training for existing staff regarding the process check, overall quality, SOP and GMP.

The Education Background and Expertise we're looking for

  1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Industrial and Production Engineering from any recognized University.
  2. Freshers are encouraged to apply. However, candidates with maximum 2 years of experience in factory within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, FMCG or similar are also eligible to apply.
  3. Sound knowledge of safety behaviors, GMP, and high‑speed production or packaging operations.
  4. Sound operating knowledge of Automation, PLCs, Servo Drives, Inverters, and Electrical Control Systems will be considered an added advantage.
  5. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
  6. Result-oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivated.
  7. Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics, and measurable implementation
