About the role

To own and lead existing and new business process within scope of the MJN Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution. This key role will manage all requirements from all functional areas within the Packaging business processes.  This role is key to ensure the MJN PLM solution meets the existing and any new needs of the Packaging function and the business operate in an efficient and compliant way within these business processes.  The role will also support any other projects and system implementations that impact on these processes.

Your responsibilities

  • Define a strategy and roadmap for PLM within the Packaging organisation
  • Raise any new requirements for PLM within the Packaging functions
  • Manage PLM process flows and Global SOP’s and other documentation for Packaging
  • Ensure the business are operating to agreed standards and principles
  • Ensure training materials are complete and fit for purpose for PLM 
  • Identify, monitor and measure the benefits that PLM is bringing to the Packaging organisation
  • Make decisions on day to day activities to ensure project delivery – escalate issues as appropriate
  • Build strong relationships and liaise with key business functions where appropriate
  • Support BSO on tickets raised for your functional area and processes

The experience we're looking for

  • Good degree in a relevant technical discipline
  • Experience in defining and managing processes – including Work Instructions and SOP’s
  • Desirable would be to have working knowledge of Packaging’s business processes in Reckitt specifically in MJN/Nutrition and how they fit together in respect to lifecycle of product development
  • Experience in communicating with all levels in MJN and external partners
  • A solid understanding of the entire product lifecycle and operating model in MJN and/or Reckitt
  • Organisational capabilities and the capability to define, evaluate and manage risk
  • Desirable would be previous PLM experience.
