About the role
As a Controls Assurance Analyst within the Global Internal Controls (GIC) team, you will be part of a centralized testing pool within our Centre of Excellence (COE), supporting Managers across regions and processes to deliver consistent and efficient assurance. You will execute walkthroughs, control testing, and sample evaluations, ensuring high-quality documentation aligned with Reckitt’s global methodology. This role is critical to maintaining robust internal controls and supporting compliance across our global operations.
Your responsibilities
- Perform walkthroughs, control testing, and sample evaluation under the direction of Managers.
- Document test results, findings, and evidence in alignment with methodology and templates.
- Support remediation validation activities and follow up with stakeholders as needed.
- Contribute to quality and timeliness of assurance delivery across assigned areas.
- Apply data-driven testing techniques and use GRC tools to enhance efficiency.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (CA/CPA/CIA/CISA) preferred.
- Language Requirements: Spanish and English proficiency is required; Portuguese minimal at basic level, ideally working level proficiency
- 5-8 years of experience in audit, accounting, risk management, or internal controls (or equivalent assurance role).
- Knowledge of internal controls, compliance, and assurance frameworks, including exposure to SOX/ICFR or similar standards.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation quality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, methodologies, and processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across dispersed teams.
- Experience with GRC platforms (e.g., AuditBoard) and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/JDE) is a plus.
