About the role

As a Tax Analyst – Direct tax, you will report to the Controller for the respective market(s) with a dotted line to the Area Tax Compliance & Reporting Manager, supporting tax compliance and reporting activities across multiple jurisdictions (Latam). You will prepare and review tax filings, analyse tax positions, and provide insights to support business decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of Indirect tax matters, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop your expertise in a dynamic, global environment. 

Your responsibilities

  • Support preparation and review of Indirect tax returns and supporting documentation.
  • Review of Indirect tax returns prepared by outsourcing Parter (big 4).
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing financial data for tax reporting and compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely tax submissions.
  • Maintain tax records and assist in audit support activities.

The experience we're looking for

  • Internship or academic experience in accounting, finance, or tax
  • Understanding of basic tax and accounting principles
  • Direct Tax skills desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Effective communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Advance English; additional language skills are a plus
