About the role
As aTax Analyst – Direct & Indirect Tax, you will report to the Controller for the respective market(s) with a dotted line to the Area Tax Compliance & Reporting Manager, supporting tax compliance and reporting activities across multiple jurisdictions (Latam). You will prepare and review tax filings, analyse tax positions, and provide insights to support business decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of Direct & Indirect Tax matters, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop your expertise in a dynamic, global environment.
Your responsibilities
- Support preparation and review of tax returns and supporting documentation.
- Review of tax returns prepared by outsourcing Parter (big 4).
- Prepare and support group tax reporting into Longview.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing financial data for tax reporting and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely tax submissions.
- Maintain tax records and assist in audit support activities.
- Help improve documentation and SOPs for tax processes.
- Participate in internal control and audit processes to ensure tax compliance.
- Monitor adherence to local and international tax regulations.
- Foster a proactive and collaborative approach within the team.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or tax.
- 3–7 years of experience in tax compliance or analysis.
- Strong technical knowledge of tax regulations and reporting.
- Experience with SAP and tax compliance software.
- Fluent English; other languages a plus.
