About the role

As the Manager, Trade Governance at Reckitt, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance, financial integrity, and process efficiency across trade governance activities. You will oversee key controls, reporting, and month-end processes while partnering with Finance, Commercial, and Audit teams to enforce policies and drive improvements. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to influence stakeholders to maintain governance standards and optimize trade-related processes. 

Your responsibilities

-Enforce trade compliance policies and approval standards; monitor adherence and address non-compliance. 

-Review promotional documentation and trade contracts for accuracy and completeness; ensure audit readiness. 

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues and strengthen internal controls. 

-Support month-end close activities for trade-related accounts, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis. 

-Prepare and review financial reports with clear commentary on performance and key drivers. 

-Assist in forecasting trade accruals and contribute to balance sheet governance activities. 

-Maintain governance frameworks for trade processes, including approval workflows and documentation standards. 

-Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains; support implementation of best practices. 

-Ensure consistent application of policies across regions and functions. 

-Partner with Finance, Commercial, and Audit teams to align on governance priorities and resolve issues. 

-Provide guidance and support to business partners on compliance requirements and trade governance processes. 

-Contribute to training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to promote policy adherence. 

 

The experience we're looking for

-7–12 years of experience in Trade Finance, Governance, or related fields within CPG or similar industries. 

-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline; professional certifications (CPA, CMA) preferred. 

-Strong understanding of compliance, financial governance, and month-end close processes. 

-Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. 

-Effective communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence and collaborate across functions. 

-Experience driving process improvements and ensuring policy adherence. 

-Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
