About the role
We are looking for a Technical Manager who will be the innovating force behind our product development at one of Reckitt's dynamic manufacturing sites. Your expertise will bring new products to life, coordinating across multifunctional teams to ensure a smooth launch into global markets. Coordinate and carry out the qualification activities for areas, equipment, and critical systems, provide support for cleaning validation, validation of critical systems corresponding to GMP computer systems, and support for maintaining their validated state, verification of global and local systems, compliance with validation plans, adherence to the validation area KPIs for timely closure.
Location: Mexico City, Tlalpan.
Your responsibilities
- Lead the development of new products and processes, ensuring seamless technology transfers and successful launches for healthcare brands.
- Implement supply aspects of healthcare innovation, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes.
- Offer technical troubleshooting support to manufacturing units, especially concerning process safety and product robustness.
- Assist global manufacturing sites with technical needs, contributing to new technologies and integration efforts.
- Continuously evaluate and improve process targets, ensuring our operations are competitive and aligned with best practises. - Coordinate and ensure the qualification/validation of the assigned elements according to the PMV and assigned projects.
- Ensure training in the validation/qualification PNOs.
The experience we're looking for
- Demonstrated deep knowledge of manufacturing technology coupled with experience in pharmaceuticals or FMCG.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards across the UK, EU, and FDA.
- Proven line management abilities, nurturing team growth and development.
- Strong interpersonal skills capable of influencing at multiple levels within the business.
- A strategic thinker who excels at collaboration and relationship building across cross-functional teams.
- Robust understanding of supply chain management and manufacturing excellence. - 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP.
- Knowledge of Mexican standards (NOM), FDA.
- English level: advanced.
