About the role
As the Payroll Analyst, you’ll be responsible for overseeing payroll administration and ensuring timely, accurate payroll reviews. You’ll be the first point of contact for employees with questions about payroll processes, guiding them from their onboarding onward. This role plays a key part in streamlining payroll operations, with a strong focus on developing and implementing automation strategies that enhance efficiency and compliance.
Your responsibilities
- 
Manage HR-related incidents and monitor their transfer to payroll.
 - 
Review timesheets and attendance records, correcting discrepancies.
 - 
Conduct payroll analysis, including variance and in/out flow reports.
 - 
Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with external vendors.
 - 
Support the HR team by resolving employee inquiries and enhancing employee experience.
 - 
Ensure compliance and mitigate data security risks within payroll operations.
 - 
Administer payroll calculation bases and third-party payments (IMSS, ISN, SAT, union dues, child support garnishments).
 - 
Analyze compensation data, including salaries and bonuses.
 - 
Oversee, review, and advise on payroll transactions (e.g., through electronic banking).
 - 
Compile fiscal year payment calendars and provide guidance on ad hoc changes.
 - 
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on payroll issues and errors.
 - 
Advise on state and federal payroll and tax legislation, integrating changes into payroll processes.
 - 
Participate in internal and external audits.

Minimum 4 years of experience in payroll or related fields.
 - 
Intermediate English proficiency.
 - 
Experience with other payroll platforms or tax processing tools integrated with SAP (a plus).
 - 
Exposure to regulatory frameworks or compliance processes (a nice-to-have).
