About the role
Manage and deliver CAPEX projects from initiation to handover, defining scope, cost, and timelines. Oversee engineering, technical, and financial aspects, supplier coordination, safety, and quality compliance. Control budgets, monitor performance, update documentation, and report progress. Ensure proper resource management, risk mitigation, and secure project information.
Location of the role: Mexico City, Tlalpan.
Your responsibilities
- Communication & Coordination:
Ensure timely communication with stakeholders (local and global), coordinate cross-functional teams, and monitor risks/issues to meet project objectives.
- Project Closure:
Oversee completion of project activities, vendor execution, documentation, purchase orders, payments, and handover to beneficiary areas.
- Management:
Maintain KPIs, keep training updated, seek process improvements (project and CAPEX management), capture lessons learned, and provide guidance/mentorship.
- Project Initiation:
Prepare required documentation: Project Brief, CAPEX request, quotations, review requirements and timelines.
- Planning:
Define scope, design and execution strategy, review with stakeholders, verify resources, identify risks/constraints, establish governance, create schedule and baseline.
The experience we're looking for
- Previopus experience in capital project management (CAPEX), critical services (compressed air, HVAC, purified water), and installation of manufacturing / packaging equipment.
- Senior-level role with experience in pharma, food, or automotive industries.
- Team leadership and management skills.
- Knowledge of project management best practices (certification or course preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and SAP.
- Experience managing contractors and direct personnel.
- Strong focus on EHS compliance and CAPEX control.
- Intermediate - advanced English proficiency.
