About the role
Here's your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of a global leader. As the Factory Senior Supply Accountant for Reckitt, you're not just crunching numbers; you're fuelling decisions that enhance our operational excellence and profitability. You'll work closely with the heart of our supply chain, providing insights that drive strategic actions and improve our gross margin. As the first point of contact for the Supply Controller you will support the delivery of the factory performance, including financial plan and forecasts, the month end process, variance analysis and financial reviews.
Your responsibilities
- Delivering Forecasts for Conversion Costs, Waste, BOM and other areas of factory finance.
- Balance Sheet Reviews: Coordinating monthly reviews, including fixed assets, stock, accruals, and prepayments, ensuring adherence to corporate policies.
- Quarterly Forecasts and Budget: Preparing and submitting forecasts to the Site Controller, Coordinating with the Site Leadership team to prepare, covering site volumes, costs, and fixed expenses.
- Gross Margin Improvement Projects: Reviewing and contributing to projects to evaluate financial impact and support submissions to Corporate.
- Cost Savings Initiatives: Identifying and leading initiatives to deliver cost savings.
- NPD/EPD Costings: Developing costings for new and existing products to ensure viability.
- Audit Support: Assisting in internal and external audit activities.
- Process Improvement: Challenging and improving finance processes and reporting.
- Ensuring Compliance with Corporate Policies: Oversee and enforce adherence to corporate financial policies and procedures across the site.
The experience we're looking for
- CIMA/ACCA qualified with 3 years PQE.
- Experience in a Finance/Accounting role within FMCG.
- Understanding of Product Costing & Manufacturing.
- Proficient in PC skills and systems knowledge.
