About the role

The Head of Media - MENAP role leads the end to end media strategy, investment, implementation, and performance measurement across all channels. The role ensures cohesive media planning aligned with brand, business, and commercial objectives, while driving innovation, efficiency, and excellence across markets.

Your responsibilities

  • Define and own the long term media strategy for the MENAP region across all channels.
  • Develop full funnel media investment priorities across platforms and equity and performance executions.
  • Manage regional media budgets, ensuring transparency, governance, and accountability.
  • Act as senior advisor to C suite and business leads on media impact and opportunities.
  • Ensure cohesive collaboration across brand, digital, analytics, procurement, and market teams.
  • Lead annual media planning, budgeting, and optimization cycles.
  • Oversee development and delivery of annual and in-year media plans.
  • Ensure consistency in media architecture, audience targeting, and channel mix across all markets.
  • Ensure dashboards, analytics reports, and insights are actioned by agencies and teams.
  • Oversee relationships with global and regional platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.).
  • Lead the relationship with media agencies—performance evaluation, scopes, KPIs, commercial models.
  • Manage the media team ensuring clear direction of work, priorities of tasks, capability development, work life balance and mental wellbeing.

The experience we're looking for

  • A proven ability to lead, inspire, and mentor teams, driving toward success.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, paired with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Skilled in data analysis, adept at translating insights into strategic actions.
  • A strategic thinker, proficient in evolving insights into effective, actionable plans.
  • Building Business / Customer Relationships.
  • Educated to minimum bachelors degree level in a business or communications related subject - from a recognised University.
  • 10-12 years of media experience, with good understanding of national media / new media experience.
