About the role

Are you a strategic thinker with an eye for detail and a knack for negotiation? Reckitt is looking for a Senior Buyer to tackle the exciting challenges of procurement. Will be responsible for the E2E procurement operations for Indirect Commercial Spend including Marketing and Commercial Fixed Costs.This is your chance to play a central role in sculpting procurement strategies and influencing the efficiency of our operations. You'll be in charge of bringing together the best in supplier management, process improvement, and cost optimisation. Your responsibilities

  • Managing indirect commercial spend portfolio for Marketing & CFC categories for Middle East markets.
  • Generating productivity initiatives through scope optimizations, should-cost modelling, ROI based approach, negotiations and category and supplier consolidations.
  • Running ideation sessions with budget holders and key suppliers.
  • Ensuring compliance with local and global SOPs and guidelines, reviewing local SOP from time to time and running SOP refreshers with stakeholders.
  • Recommending, presenting and implementing the annual sourcing strategy for assigned spend categories.
  • Leading & monitoring the supplier evaluations
  • Supporting due diligence part of supplier selection process & compliance to upkeep and improvement of Health, Safety & environmental corporate policy/procedures & applicable legal requirements.
  • Craft and execute procurement strategies that drive cost savings and ensure quality.
  • Seamlessly manage the end-to-end purchase process from selecting suppliers to overseeing contract compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to foster mutual growth and reliability.
  • Scrutinise market trends to capture opportunities for financial and operational enhancements.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, ensuring their needs are artfully met through your procurement solutions.
  • Uphold the highest standards of accuracy in all procurement documentation and supplier information.

The experience we're looking for

  • At least 5 Years of experience in Procurement with expertise in Category Management, managing Indirect spend, ideally with exposure across Marketing and Commercial Fixed Cost Categories.
  • Logic-oriented approach with strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret financial information.
  • Integrity and business acumen. Must be able to take control and be accountable.
  • Good communication skills, including fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Ability to be flexible/adaptable in the face of changing priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools and ability to analyze and make sense out of large data sets.
  • Developed multiple projects from concept to completion, balancing various stakeholder needs with ease.
  • Refined analytical and problem-solving skills that help you navigate complex procurement landscapes.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, allowing you to foster connexions and liaise effectively at all organisational levels.
  • Competent in using modern procurement software and tools, enhancing the effectiveness of your role.
  • An educational background in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
