About the role

Your role is to lead the development and execution of scientifically grounded medical marketing strategies for Reckitt’s healthcare portfolio across Ireland. Ensure brand messaging is commercially impactful, compliant with HPRA/IPHA codes, and tailored to healthcare professionals (HCPs), pharmacists, and patients. Drive omni-channel engagement and digital transformation for HCPs while bridging commercial objectives with scientific integrity.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver medical marketing strategy on selected brands working closely with the category & brand managers.
  • Using scientific expertise develop breakthrough communications targeting healthcare professionals.
  • Effectively manage educational and promotional communications to healthcare professionals that are delivered directly from Reckitt.
  • Monitor relevant legislation, medical issues, trends, and guidelines in Ireland and identify and manage risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the brand teams in the development of marketing plans, appropriate marketing tools and materials to drive growth in selected healthcare products.
  • Lead the HCP digital transformation plans and the seamless omni experience for HCP’s through path to recommendation.
  • Partner with Medical Affairs and Regulatory to develop promotional claims aligned with SPCs and substantiated by robust scientific data.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage real-world data and emerging evidence to strengthen brand positioning through integration of new scientific insights into marketing strategies and materials.
  • Ensure Compliance to the HPRA & IPHA relevant Codes of Conduct and Standard Operating Processes always.
  • Effectively manage the medical marketing projects and budget to deliver the medical marketing plan to defined timelines and within agreed spend. 
  • Strong understanding of all the different channels to reach the required audience, experience in digital activation to HCPs
  • Work closely with Sales teams and retailers on the strategy and execution of pharmacy and HCP plans.

The experience we're looking for

  • Medical or scientific degree e.g., Pharmacist qualification, BSc in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field
  • Ambitious and keen to take on responsibility in an organisation that provides a high level of autonomy and individual responsibility.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and propose improvement.
  • Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
  • Strong interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing external stakeholders, customers, healthcare professionals and internal teams
  • Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities balanced with a sound understanding of the HSE, pharmacy and changing Ireland healthcare environment
