CI Lead Analyst

About the role

This position is responsible for supporting overall operation of the quality control laboratory within the Evansville Quality Control Organization. This is a fast-paced, high output production lab, responsible for testing and release of finished product, intermediate materials, and raw materials. This role will provide strategic support and subject matter expertise to the organization for activities related to quality lab operation. 

Your responsibilities

  • Support/Lead quality labs training program implementation and monitoring
  • Provide technical support to quality, operations, R&D, and the global analytical community within Reckitt (Manage PM, calibration, metrology support, Qualer)
  • Communicate effectively with management and other cross functional peers to quickly resolve quality issues.
  • Report key performance indicators and support timely completion of corrective actions.
  • Use lean principles to drive continuous improvement in laboratory operations, including the on-going evaluation of testing strategy and supply costs.
  • Collaborate with lab teams to drive Computer System Validation projects to completion on time.
  • Support administration duties of lab software (Chromatography data systems, validated spreadsheets, etc.) infrastructure.
  • Support SOP management and updates
  • Develop and maintain consistent IT support and relationships with quality labs.  (Chromeleon, Glims system upgrades, IM, digital notebooks, POKA)
  • Support and sustain ISO accreditation through document updates and process improvement
  • Support Method change control, method updates, review, validation/equivalency protocol guidance

The experience we're looking for

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related degree desired
    • Relevant work experience will be considered in leu of the above degree
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Quality food manufacturing environment
  • In depth knowledge of analytical chemistry, microbiology, advanced lab instrumentation, or food testing methodology is desired
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills required
  • Excellent administration and communication skills, both verbal and written are required
  • Established team building capabilities are desired
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and FDA regulations are desired
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is desired
  • Strong computer skills are desired, with knowledge of MS office, SAP, Optiva, Lab Information Management systems, Chromatography Data systems is preferred
  • Prior experience leading continuous improvement initiatives is desired

US salary ranges

USD 54,000 - 80,000

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
