Your responsibilities

• Complete all maintenance and repair tasks as directed by Facilities management through the CMMS system
• Monitors, operates, adjusts, maintains, and repairs building systems and equipment for assigned facilities as necessary
• Troubleshoot and repair issues in a production environment including, but not limited to: HVAC, drains, VFD’s, pumps, motors, airflow diagnostics
• Perform preventative maintenance including, but not limited to equipment inspections, filter changes, belt changes, motor replacements and HVAC overhaul
• Perform assigned chiller maintenance and troubleshooting task safely in a manufacturing/processing setting
• Experienced in troubleshooting and servicing glycol, screw, absorption, and reciprocating chillers
• Assist manufacturing representatives, Project Engineering, Contract Engineering, and departmental personnel on new equipment installation.
• Utilize electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools to troubleshoot equipment systems
• Provide input for planned equipment maintenance and perform outage work during nonoperational hours
• Other duties as assigned

The experience we're looking for

• Have a two-year Associate Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Technology (or equivalent), plus at least three (3) years of verifiable industrial HVAC and chiller field experience
• Universal EPA certification
• Be able to work Monday through Friday on first shift with rotating on-call
• Basic electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration skills/theory knowledge
• Strong acumen in chillers, cooling towers, boilers, RTUs, split systems, VRF systems, refrigeration, controls, central exhaust, and other building mechanical systems.
• Have strong team oriented skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• Be a self-starter, be able to work effectively with minimal supervision, and good organizational and planning skills
• Be willing to learn new job-related skills and have good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to regularly move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds

US salary ranges

 USD 29+ depending on experience

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
