About the role
The candidate will be responsible for activation of all strategic IT&D initiatives in the Factory. Establishing an account manager relationship with factory leadership, this person will ensure that there is a clear communication line between all parties and that stakeholders buy in and commit to a transformation journey.
North America is Reckitt’s biggest region by net revenue and with huge focus on supply chain resilience in the past couple of years, ensuring resilient and local production is imperative to the Reckitt group.
In managing the relationship, this person will engage with global IT&D product groups, including those outside of Supply IT&D to establish roadmaps for business capabilities and digitalisation within the factory, manage the portfolio of digital change in each factory, and champion a healthy and stable factory IT&D ecosystem.
Your responsibilities
IT Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute the factory IT strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve operational performance.
- Collaborate with senior management to prioritize IT initiatives and investments.
Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of factory IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications systems.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Manufacturing Systems Integration:
- Lead the integration of IT systems with manufacturing equipment and automation technologies.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to implement data-driven solutions for process optimization and quality control.
Data and Analytics, RPA:
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract actionable insights from manufacturing data and identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Deploy process automation capabilities using Reckitt tools.
Cybersecurity and Compliance:
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect factory IT systems and sensitive data from cyber threats and breaches.
- Ensure compliance with Reckitt Policies, industry regulations and standards related to IT security, data privacy, and intellectual property protection.
The experience we're looking for
- Degree qualified or equivalent
- Experience of working in a complex organisation with a global scope. FMCG experience desirable but not essential (8 + years)
- Demonstrable Manufacturing process understanding and proficiency; experience with IT Operating Model alongside Industrial Automation and Industry 4.0
- Project Management and Change Management skills desirable
- Knowledge of key Industrial Automation and Data Analytics systems desirable
- Fluent English essential.
