Your responsibilities
- Manages the instructional design and development process, including business partners, SMEs, vendors, and internal developers, for course development.
- Partnering with the department leaders, this role is responsible for the design, development and deployment of blended learning solutions to ensure learning objectives and business outcomes are fully defined and met.
- Partners with inter-department team members/clients to understand business needs related to training delivery and documentation requirements and how the training systems can most effectively and efficiently meet those requirements.
- The candidate will be responsible for managing the Training Curricula of the LMS by setting up curriculums for each position, measuring effectiveness of training events and use of the LMS.
- Directly manages the department trainers for each production area.
- Provides project management expertise and guidance regarding the design, development, and implementation of all content requirements.
- Proactively use technology, industry best practices, and alternative learning methods to continue to evolve learning and development activities. Makes recommendations for future digital systems solutions, hardware, and/or software upgrades.
- A demonstrated thought leader, bringing innovate learning solutions from internal and external networks.
- Assess learning and development programs and solutions, ensuring continuous improvement and relevance to the needs of the changing business.
- Partner with client groups to assess development needs, perform gap analysis, design and lead programs that build people management and leadership skills and capabilities
- Implement training assessment and evaluation methods to measure individual success and program effectiveness, and to continuously improve resources.
- Manage Subject Matter Experts and departmental trainers to drive Learning Organization approach.
The experience we're looking for
- Proficient at developing and executing training programs that accelerate performance
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 5+ years related experience managing and administering training and development programs, policies and processes
- Ability to influence and create positive collaborative relationships across levels and cultures
- Strong planning, consulting, organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time
- Excellent consulting skills; ability to understand business strategy and drivers to create effective training materials.
- Knowledge of implementing and using a learning management system (LMS) a plus
- Proven drive to explore, learn, and apply new media digital innovations.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, work well under pressure with multiple assignments; meet tight deadlines and multi-task.
- Experience working in manufacturing environment a plus
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Good consulting, facilitating, and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence and to resolve conflicts with a win/win attitude.
- Self-motivated, well organized, and thorough professional who pays meticulous attention to detail
- Accepts personal responsibility for task fulfillment and job performance.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
- Experience developing online courses.

Salary Range
USD $115,000.00 - $173,000.00
Pay Transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
