About the role
Step into the opportunity to become Reckitt’s UK Payroll Manager, where your expertise in payroll operations plays a central role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional employee experience. In this key position, you will lead the end‑to‑end payroll process for the UK, overseeing statutory requirements, auditing data integrity, and partnering closely with HR, Finance, and external providers to deliver flawless execution every pay cycle.
Your leadership will be essential in driving continuous improvement, enhancing payroll controls, and optimising processes to support Reckitt’s evolving workforce. Your responsibilities
- Contribute through others for a region consisting of critical markets and stakeholders. Establish a culture of Working Together symmetrical to Reckitt’s principles
- Govern payroll and ensure delivery dealing with the proper payroll partner
- Monitor and Comply with legal statutes . Liaise with payroll partners, audit advisors, legal advisors to sync payroll calculations and remittances to the legal, financial and regulatory norms. Ensure Zero Tolerance to compliance violations and de-risking payroll
- Partner with stakeholders in the region for each markets. Should emerge as the Single Point of Contact for all payroll subjects, queries, issues, escalations. Sync the payroll process with Global Payroll principles to ensure standardization of delivery and controls
- Review, Correct and Prevent the errors within payroll and ensure the team works on the corrected ways of working. Diligently report the financial impact of errors & data breaches and work with partners to deploy controls as a way forward
- Liaise with vendors for operational effectiveness providing the best ROI over and above contractual obligation. Partner with our Vendor Leads to govern the effectiveness of the partners. Rationalize ways to reduce the additional costs incurred while maintaining non compromise of quality delivered
- Actively spearhead the Operations Initiatives like Audit, Productivity Enhancements, Learning & Development to coach the team ensuring a succession plan and back up matrix. Partner with cross teams – HRSSC, Finance to contribute to success story of the delivery--Contribute to the overall transformation projects to streamline the delivery, enhance productivity, align with organizational objectives. Provide direction and advisory on the basis of real time set backs within the process;
The experience we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role in UK
- Proven managerial skills with respect to payroll delivery
- Adept at Change Management and Communications
- Excellent analytical skills
- Knowledge of one or more of the Payroll application systems preferred
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated actitude for acquiring new technical skills in data reporting
- Ability to communicate with all Global stakeholders in English
