About the role

Primary responsibility of the role is to ensure finished goods availability at SKU-DC level on timely basis and as per forecast while ensuring that Inventory is as optimized as possible. The role holder is responsible for production planning and distribution planning across pan-India DCs and multiple sourcing sites (EMO, In-house, Import sites, Central WHs, etc.) and is responsible to manage the communication between key stakeholders in assessing the supply risks and opportunities as a part of the S&OP process

 

SCOPE / DIMENSIONS OF ROLE

The role requires close engagement with Sales/Brand/Production other supply teams to ensure stock availability at right location and right time. The role also requires collaboration with EMO operations, NPD team, Logistics, Customer Service, Quality, and Import site to ensure execution of preset plans on set frequency. 
The Supply Planner plays a vital role during Product transitions and implementation of Artwork revisions to minimize material write offs. Actively participate and provide key support to execute supply chain projects.

Your responsibilities

    Ensure stock availability as per desired Shelf life for MT, ECOM, CSD channels 
    Drive range SKU’s stock availability at DC level by coordination with region teams
    Ensure that Promos/Art-work changes/Price Changes/ legal compliances are executed at factories/ EMOs on time
    Deliver Net working Capital targets for company while ensuring the desired Service levels
    Provide input for long-term capacity planning (5-year RCCP) for multi-site complex supply network
    Create inputs for yearly budget exercise for sites basis demand from Finance and DP team
    Ensure adoption and stabilization by regular review of system Plans 
    Ensure NPD roll outs are on time from the production perspective
    Provide support and execute action plans to minimize SLOB and Inventory write offs

KEY CHALLENGES

    Ensure superior service levels for range SKUs as per desired Shelf Life of each channel
    Ensure Inventory Management at DC’s as per storage segmentation in Drug room, Cold room, Aerosol room etc

The experience we're looking for

• MBA in Supply Chain or Operations Management
• 3-5 Years of working in fast-paced, growth-oriented organizations with experience in Planning & Supply Chain Management.
    Demonstrates strong commitment to KPIs and has a demonstrated record of excellence
    Commercial awareness - Understands impact of supply chain decisions on business profitability 
    Has a solution oriented and entrepreneurial approach
    Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills
