About the role

• Manage & accomplish all the packaging development activities for all the projects of Health Category in India.
• Design & develop packaging solutions, as per product requirements.
• Demonstrate ability to work with cross-cultural & cross-functional project teams.
• Engage with teams on margin improvement segments and technology transfer based on Global packaging standards.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives for Health packaging.
• New vendor development and qualification done for Contingency projects.
• Continuously work on sustainable packaging material developments along with cross functional teams to drive Reckitt’s sustainability agenda.
• Design and develop Packaging suitable for Ecom channels.

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for design & development of packaging components and packaging processes for NPDs (New product development), EPDs (Existing Product development), e- commerce and Sustainability projects as assigned.
• Ensure that packaging related documentation (Specification, PBOM, protocols, TDP) are prepared and properly maintain in the system.
• Creating innovative packaging solutions by closely partnering with approved vendors to bring in improved consumer experience / latest trends in packaging development.
• The packaging solutions should meet the Technical Action Standards, the Agreed Cost Briefs, and SC/Supplier Capabilities.
• Apply best practices in the areas of technical rigor (Functional Excellence, Risk Management, and Specification etc.)
• Should be able to benchmark competition packaging while working out proposed packaging routes for various innovation projects.
• Should participate in margin improvement drive via exploring squeeze opportunities.
• Should be able to provide sustainable packaging solutions in line with Reckitt Sustainability agenda.
• To conduct packaging line trials to establish process parameters & performance to qualify packaging components. Validating packaging process & equipment designed to assure predefined quality of packaging.
• To support the operations & packaging facilities by providing technical support as required.
• Deliver projects by working closely with the cross functional teams like Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Regulatory, Quality, Procurement, Planning & Logistics and Finance.

The experience we're looking for

Education: B.Sc./ B Tech. + PGD in packaging from IIP with min 2 years of experience in Packaging development.
Skill set: Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel) AutoCAD.
