About the role

The role is ideal for a high-calibre individual with the necessary skill set to lead a team working on a cross-functional platform of projects primarily focussed on a challenging and complex base business resiliency plan to sustain future growth of, primarily, the Intimate Wellness product portfolio. 

The challenging role comprises of leading a team of scientists both from a managerial and technical excellence point of view – whilst dealing and managing with a multitude of challenging and changing situations and stakeholders. 

Your responsibilities

-    Working with the team project manager, you will be responsible for all R&D technical activities, day to day management and resourcing for the compliance programme and supply plan projects under your remit (role is predominantly focussed on supply plan projects)
-    Accountable for the delivery and execution of the project work of your team
-    Accountable for the KPIs / delivery of project milestones of your team
-    Responsible for the development of your direct line reports and accountable for that of the overall team you lead
-    Responsible for providing the technical solutions of analytical and formulation related challenges.
-    Responsible for project management, Lab set up and its maintenance.
-    Responsible for Formulation assessment for the Intimate Wellness portfolio.
-    Responsible for the Regulatory submissions, variations and response of RTQs

The experience we're looking for

-    Post Graduate in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry)
-    Experience in project and stakeholder management
-    Significant R&D experience with a proven track record of delivery.
-    Experience of working in a Healthcare / Pharmaceutical environment is desirable
-    Working knowledge of CTD modules and regulatory frameworks
-    Proven track record as a leader in planning, prioritization and implementing projects as well as identifying costs savings and problem solving
-    Proven track record in active collaboration with R&D and non-R&D functions
-    Experience with recruitment, management and development of people

 

-    The candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity and be a ‘self-starter’ with the ability to quickly learn and implement to keep up with the fast pace of the role
-    Technically diligent and able to grasp new science and visualise a business benefit
-    Ability to delegate whilst still being accountable
-    Prioritisation and time management skills are essential 
-    Stakeholder collaboration, communication and the ability to manage expectations are also key 
-    Strong leadership, influencing, motivational and interpersonal skills.
-    Capable of building strong working relationships and motivating teams to deliver outstanding results.
-    Strong negotiating skills.
-    Strong analytical skills.
-    Ability to anticipate, plan and realize significant projects involving multiple technical and scientific hurdles.
-    Ability to perform solid thinking into action (a thinker and an achiever).

-    Openness to change and ability to think out of the box.
-    The business language in Reckitt is English, therefore fluency in English is essential and fluency in local languages advantageous
-    Flexible to travel, if required
