About the role
Reckitt Research and Development (Gurugam, Haryana, India) is seeking an analytical chemist to join our team in the role of R&D Senior Officer in the Germ Protection Analytical Research & Development team. The successful candidate should be an accomplished, energetic, and responsible with Gas Chromatography and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography experience within Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or environmental industries. The role plays a key role in development of Germ Protection brands including Dettol, Harpic, and Lizol brands.
Your responsibilities
• Completing critical analysis on assigned projects in a timely manner, including stability and benchmark product testing.
• Participate in analytical method development and validation for existing and new products
• Use scientific and technical skills to assist in solving product and project associated problems.
• Maintain good laboratory practices including data integrity and equipment validation.
• Assist in maintaining lab equipment in a ready-to-use state, including organizing preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Contribute to a safe laboratory environment following proper safety procedures
• Serve as a trainer for test methods and instrument operation for other members of the team and new joiners.
• Foster personal development growth with continuous coaching and feedback on career development as per the R&D Guiding Principles and Corporate Core Values.
The experience we're looking for
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent in chemistry or related fields.
• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in analytical chemistry.
• Working knowledge of HPLC, GC, and other instrumentation used in analysis of consumer goods products.
• Hands-on laboratory experience with a passion to innovate and utilize out-of-the-box thinking.
