About the role

Primary role is to coordinate logistics operations and support in ensuring timely execution of logistics projects working closely with stake holders across functions. Ensure timely logistics vendor payments and maintaining operational and cost KPI Matrix.  

The person also needs to interface with stakeholders in procurement, planning, health logistics and finance teams for logistics operational requirements. 

Your responsibilities

•    Monitor, implement and report logistics and embellishment centre KPI's which control and improve logistics department operations performance.  
•    Ensure consistency of practices and procedures across planning and logistics.
•    Optimize stocks level in embellishment centre in coordination with planning team, improving Embellishment warehouse and inventory management. 
•    Develop & promote JIT with Packing Material suppliers without embellishment centre operations getting impacted. 
•    Maintain a knowledge of legislative and safety issues in logistics and transport related to embellishment centre operations.
•    Identify dispatch constraints and their consequences across the supply chain
•    Raise PR’s as per agreed rate contracts for Logistics vendors and ensure timely payments in coordination with finance team. 
•    Collaborate with 3PL and transporters to keep primary and secondary transportation running efficiently whilst reducing costs.
•    Develop a deep understanding of service levels and find new ways to raise performance of the embellishment centre by making operations lean and efficient.

The experience we're looking for

Requirements
•    Graduation in Science/ Engineering a must. 
•    Working knowledge of SAP MM module and Microsoft Excel is a must.
•    SAP ARIBA & Oracle Transportation Management and Power BI working knowledge preferred
•    Projects handling & Strong leadership and ownership skills
Preferences
•    FMCG experience within logistics/manufacturing/Planning/Supply Chain environment. 
•    Experience of managing healthcare/Food FMCG products is desired, but not essential
•    Has successfully demonstrated your ability to handle and improve manufacturing/ warehousing/logistics/transportation operations service levels in your current organization.
•    Have a strong sense of urgency, you're results-orientated and getting the job done attitude.
•    You are a team player, positive, collaborative and committed
•    Are comfortable juggling competing priorities and working under pressure
