About the role
The Senior Associate will lead technical product development on Innovation projects for the Lav & Surface Care R&D team.
Your responsibilities
Utilize formulation skills and technical expertise to develop new products, technologies and benefits
to address relevant consumer needs in support of brand initiatives.
Lead and advance multiple projects through the product development process
Work cross-functionally and lead project teams to achieve key milestones and objectives
Execute claim substantiation in support of new product and claims development
Collaborate with Marketing to develop, prioritize and execute project portfolio
Develop technical product strategies to support short-term and long-term innovation
Incorporate Category Quality requirements into plans, ensuring compliance within the team
Technical problem solving and troubleshooting when required ensuring issues are addressed without delay to projects
Enforce quality mindset by ‘Right first time’ practice for working in area by following documented procedures & follow good documentation practice
Be aware, accountable for safety, health& environment in workplace all time to ensure free accident & good environment area of working
Foster personal development growth with continuous coaching and feedback on career development as per the R&D Guiding Principles and Corporate Core Values
Effectively develop and supervise assigned talent and prioritize resources to effectively advance assigned activities and projects
Set objectives, conduct performance reviews and advise on the development of her/his team members to enable them to achieve their full potential
You will report to the relevant R&D Manager/Senior Manager based at same location and depending on experience, you may have one or more direct reports, with responsibility for ensuring their
development

The experience we're looking for
Bachelor/Master’s/PhD Degree in Science/Engineering/Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Sciences
Proven track record of successful delivery of technical projects in a FMCG company
Strong formulation expertise and understanding of raw material chemical interactions
Experience and understanding of methodologies used to support product and new claims development
Interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment, including cross- functional project Teams involving members from Marketing, Supply, Manufacturing as well as R&D
Strong understanding of the product development process from concept ideation to launch
Proven Project Management skills
Excellent Organizational and Problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills to nurture teamwork and foster an environment of achievement
The ability to think laterally to apply novel solutions and supporting justifications to challenging problems or situations
Result-oriented and self-motivating
Excellent networking and communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and to provide feedback to cross-functional and cross-cultural project teams or immediate supervisor
Timely execution of multiple project objectives within established timelines
