Working at the intersection of global IT teams, local business leaders, and external service partners, you translate business needs into clear IT demand, support the rollout of enterprise platforms, and help reduce solution complexity - all while maintaining high standards of service, security, and compliance.

This role offers significant autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to shape how digital solutions support commercial success.

Your responsibilities

  • Oversee the rollout, onboarding, and stabilisation of global Commercial digital solutions, supporting change management and user adoption.
  • Manage the local Commercial IT&D demand pipeline, supporting prioritisation in line with business strategy and global governance standards.
  • Oversee vendor‑delivered services, monitor service quality, manage escalations, and ensure continuity of service.
  • Drive operational stability and continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and improving reliability, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and governance requirements, and support audits and risk mitigation activities.
  • Maintain clear and transparent communication with stakeholders on service status, risks, and dependencies.

The experience we're looking for

  • Proven experience in business‑facing IT roles, supporting Commercial or comparable functions in a corporate or enterprise environment.
  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience working within global and regional IT organisations, coordinating across central, area, and local teams in a matrix setup.
  • Hands‑on experience in IT service delivery, including operational support, incident management, and service performance oversight.
  • Experience supporting the rollout, stabilisation, and adoption of enterprise‑level digital or IT solutions.
  • Experience managing or coordinating external vendors and service providers, including service oversight and escalation handling.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise IT services, including applications, end‑user computing, and infrastructure.
  • Ability to operate within governance frameworks covering change, release, security, and compliance.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into structured IT demand and actionable solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage business and IT teams at different levels.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with global and regional stakeholders.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany and Europe.
