About the role

The Junior Supply Controller supports the Senior Supply Finance Manager in all the areas of COGS & Supply Finance. This role will be supporting the ongoing analysis of COGS by brand/customer, squeeze projects, gross margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities.

 

Key finance position in the Reckitt Central Europe Finance organization supporting as a strategic business partner in delivering excellent financial performance while providing a full spectrum of financial control and financial support to the Supply organization within Reckitt CEU.

Your responsibilities

 

This position has key responsibilities in the following areas:

•    Oversight of COGS expenditure across brands and customers
•    Support with month-end closing activities, monthly trackers and controls to ensure adherence to expected accounting standards 
•    Prepare and analyse monthly financial KPIs and provide insightful recommendations to business partners
•    Support the Supply Finance budget planning / forecasting process
•    Support Supply Business Partners in execution of NWC improvement projects, inventory management and control of slow moving / obsolete products
•    Oversight of COGS accruals in balance sheet and avoid any risks to income statement
•    Ensure that transfer prices are in line with globally communicated transfer prices, review standard and actual costs for deviations and inaccuracies
•    In charge of the product costing cycle within SAP
•    Support business growth opportunities by providing COGS input for the new product launches
•    Identify risks and opportunities in Supply Finance KPIs and proactively communicate such risks and opportunities

The experience we're looking for

•    Minimum Bachelor degree in Businesses Administration or similar qualification
•    Master in Finance
•    Job experience: 1-2 years’ working experience in Finance/Commercial Controlling
•    Experience in extremely competitive, fast moving FMCG environment Industry: Branded Consumer Goods companies 
•    Strong IT & financial systems experience 
•    Strong analytical skills 
•    Strong commercial understanding  
•    Good to advanced accounting knowledge 
•    Strong MS Excel knowledge 
•    Power BI knowledge is an advantage 
•    SAP knowledge is an advantage
