Über die Stelle

Der Lab Assistant Science Platform wird in kurzer Zeit mit einer Vielzahl von wissenschaftlichen Methoden und Messinstrumenten in Kontakt kommen und als Laborkraft für mehrere Chemiker im Team fungieren, wodurch die Aufgaben wechseln und spannend bleiben. Die Arbeitstätigkeit ist rund um Polymere und Tenside in Haushaltsprodukten angesiedelt und bietet die Möglichkeit einer Vielzahl von Erfindungen in diesem besonders innovationsträchtigen Teilgebiet. Durch die besonders vernetzte Arbeitsweise des Teams, wir der Assistant mit einer Vielzahl anderer Teams in Heidelberg in Kontakt kommen und so ein Netzwerk aufbauen. Es ist vorgesehen die Stelle zu entfristen.

Your responsibilities

•    Verantwortung für die Instandhaltung der Laborausrüstung und des Arbeitsplatzes
•    Lesen, Verstehen und Anwenden von Standardarbeitsanweisungen (SOPs) in Bezug auf:
•    Ordnungsgemäße Bedienung, Standardisierung und Wartung der Laborausrüstung
•    Führen genauer Laborbücher und Dokumentation der Ergebnisse
•    Einhaltung der Sicherheits- und Hygienevorschriften
•    Verwaltung des Materialbestands und Bestellung von Verbrauchsmaterialien bei Bedarf
•    Sicherstellen, dass alle Entwicklungsaktivitäten in zugewiesenen Projekten den gesetzlichen, gesundheits-, sicherheits- und umweltbezogenen Anforderungen entsprechen, einschließlich der Anwendung und Nachverfolgung bewährter Laborpraktiken
•    Vorschläge zur Verbesserung der Produkte, Methoden oder des Labormanagements
•    Präsentation der Arbeitsergebnisse vor Wissenschaftlern oder Managern im entsprechenden Format und unter Berücksichtigung etwaiger Probleme oder ungewöhnlicher Ergebnisse
 

The experience we're looking for

•    Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung als Chemielaborant/in oder ähnlichem
•    Fundierte Kenntnisse der Labortechniken 
•    Gute Deutschkenntnisse & Englischkenntnisse
•    Microsoft Office Kenntnisse (mittleres Niveau)
•    Sorgfältige Arbeitsweise
•    Gute Planungs- und Organisationsfähigkeiten
•    Unternehmerisches und selbstmotiviertes Handeln, aber auch die Bereitschaft, als Teammitglied mitzuarbeiten und einen Beitrag zu leisten
•    Aufgeschlossen, kreativ und mit einem ausgeprägte Eigeninitiative und Ideeneinbringung
•    Offenheit für ein multikulturelles und ortsunabhängiges Arbeitsumfeld
