About the role
The Lab Research Scientist (Gel Development & Machine Partnership) supports the development and optimization of dishwashing detergent formulations through laboratory testing, stability studies, performance evaluations, and data analysis. The role combines hands-on laboratory work with documentation, technical data management, and collaboration on product and production trials. It is ideal for a laboratory professional with a strong technical background who enjoys working independently while contributing to a cross-functional R&D team.
Your responsibilities
- Prepare and manufacture dishwashing detergent formulations according to established recipes and manufacturing instructions.
- Plan, conduct, document and evaluate stability studies following standarized test procedures.
- Prepare samples for anlytical testing, efficacy studies, and product performance evaluations.
- Conduct product performance testing and apply basic analyutical methods to assess product quality and effectiveness.
-Analyze experimental results and propose improvements for formulations, testing methods and product performance.
-Maintain laboratory equipment, manage raw material inventories, update technical documentation (TDS and PLM systems) and support production trials, including occasional business travel.
The experience we're looking for
- Completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician or a similar qualification in a related scientific or laboratory field.
- Solid laboratory experience with strong practical knowledge of laboratory techniques and testing procedures.
- Ideally, experience with technologies, manufacturing processes, performance testing, and analytical methods relevant to the product category.
- Good communication skills both in German and English
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to accurately document and present results.
-Strong attention to details and a careful, methodical approach to work.
-Good planning and organizational skills.
-Self-motivated and proactive mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
-Creativity, initiative and willingness to contribute new ideas.
-Class B driver's licnese preferred.
